Biographical Info

Lord Galen Goldthread, an 11th century Anglo-Saxon, joined the SCA in 2018. He stepped into his Barony and the SCA with both feet, teaching himself various fiber disciplines: embroidery, cross-stitch, sewing, and inkle weaving. He is currently Deputy Minister of Arts & Sciences as well as Baronial A&S Champion for Carillion.

Biographical Info

Lady Kara Grímsdóttir has been an active member of the Barony of Carillion and the Fencing community since 2013. She has served as Carillion’s Fencing Champion twice as well as the Baronial Fencing Marshal. This Viking lady also enjoys band weaving (Tablet/card and Inkle), Viking knit jewelry and runes. Kara is a member of House Erlendsstaðir.

Baroness of Carillion

Biographical Info

THL Máirghréad Ghearr, Baroness of Carillion first began attending Barren Sands War 2001, then attended a few Pennsics, became active in SCA with the Canton of the Keep by the Endless Sea in the Barony of Carillion in January 2007. Máirghréad is currently focusing on the Tudor era. She has served as Canton Exchequer, Canton Seneschal, Deputy Baronial Seneschal, Baronial Seneschal, EK Event Clerk, and run several events. She has won the Pennsic War’s Estrogen & Axes Championship twice and has been Carillion’s Thrown Weapons Champion. In addition to throwing weapons, she enjoys baking, making silk banners, and is a member of House Grog.

Biographical Info

The Honorable Lord Wulfgang Gruenwald had a 13th-century Southern Germanic persona before his passing in 2016. He joined the SCA in the Canton of the Keep by the Endless Sea in the Barony of Carillion by quickly embedding himself in the kitchen. He ran numerous dayboards, feasts, vigils, and helped others achieve their goals in their kitchens. He served as Canton Chatelaine, Canton Seneschal, and Baronial Seneschal as well as finding the time to teach classes, shoot archery, and head woodworking and furniture making projects. Wolfgang was a member of House Grog and Protegé to Maîtresse Jehannine de Flandres.
